Welcome to the forum Stefan! The watch suits your wrist well and you are most fortunate that with your average/above average sized wrist that the watch world is your oyster! Have a lovely time here!

I actually think, that my wrist size is average, but I have a rather flat wrist, not a round one, which helps me with some bigger watches. The 99.1 is one of the largest watches I got, though.

I've wanted a Dornbluth for so long but something else always seems to jump the queue. One day...

I'm quite new around these parts as well but really appreciate the following of Independents here. You'll find lots of useful stuff. Alas, I, too, have always lusted after a dournbluthe but my wrist can't handle their 42mm size case and can't quite bring ... 

... it is as important, that it looks good on you. There are so many watches that i like, but i can't wear.

I agree with your comment about getting to meet and talk to Dirk. That's why the Independents are my favorites.
