Glad you found a nice solution! Instead of just complaining, you put your head on it and found a solution!

Finally corrected the uncomfortable deployant buckle situation with a make-shift Panerai style buckle, similar to what Marius (Cosmopak) did with his Evo Perpetual, until I can replace it with a MB&F buckle and/or until my bespoke velcro straps arrive...
Not the first strap arrangement to have this problem; undoubtedly won't be the last
I have experienced the same with IWC Ingeniuer using that metal piece at the case end of the strap. Best of luck on this... the watch looks fantastic. Cazalea

An amazing complication and design. Bravo! Tho yes, agreed Max may want to seek out a strap / buckle stylist. The rubber strap is great here imho, though some of the other models with leather-type... not so much. Also have a small-ish wrist, so yes i unde...
Thanks and agreed with the slight change in strap length, placement, etc...but I still think it is a flaw in the deployant buckle design itself since it is not as curved as others out there...
For now I still think a tang style buckle might be the most comfortable option until a velcro strap option becomes available or if I can successfully order one from a fee bespoke artisans I know 😉

The PAM pin-buckle with screw-in bar is a great safe choice. Well done 👍 I keep a few 'extra' PAM pins here for the same comfort (and security) reason.

I also have had fit problems with some deployant clasps. Some symmetrical and asymmetrical clasps and the solution has often been mix and match of strap lengths to center the clasp
under my wrist in order to have the watch itself centered on the top of my wrist (and improve comfort). Very nice watch though!

Fantastic chronograph. Unfortunately the clasp has not been so
technically thought through than the movement.
