H. Moser & Cie Streamliner – a daring step into the integrated sports business

By: Pour le Mérite : January 9th, 2020-03:07
You all know how established brands struggle to encourage new things to their customers. Not so much with our independent brands, especially the swiss-german troll in the industry: H. Moser & Cie The collection starts with a flyback chronograph and a ...

That looks superb 👍

Well, looking into social media we might know the reason... ;)

No comment on this fantastic movement from you?

Edouard didn't want another round watch, he's a fan of cushion cases.

By: Pour le Mérite : January 9th, 2020-03:30
Regarding the movement I thought you'd rate the technical aspect which in my opinion is a step beyond the masters of chronographs, Minerva and A. Lange & Söhne.

I hope not. [nt]

they didn't go for another Genta style look like

Saw it yesterday, but I had my doubts if it was real. or not :)

That movement looks stunning, love it. Not sure about the look, I see some IWC's Ocean/Porsche collection traces from the 90's in its design. Anyway, I'm sure it's a superb quality product, no doubt about that. Thanks. Vte

+1 [nt]

I like it! The slight resembalance to the the IWC/Porsche Design watches is not a bad thing

 By: mpg13 : January 9th, 2020-05:25
The water resistance and chronograph pushers that can be used underwater make it a real sports watch. I really want to see better photos of the movement.

If you read my text, the source and the hompage, you'd know that they make no secret about it being sourced from Agenhor.

I mean this movement speaks such a clear language that you instantly know whos work it is.

I got all the info directly from Alexander Lintz channel - first hand, minutes after it was published. [nt]

its absolutely no secret that it's an Agenhor Chrono movement, but at this point it is not clear if there are more differences with the versions used by Singer and Faberge other than an absent hour hand.

Ah, now I understand. I‘m sorry!

It has approximately 40 components less.

Here's a video that shows it off nicely.

From WatchAdvisor. H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic

I like this very much!

Beautiful to my eyes and the sound of the central minute counter jumping to the next position is sublime.

At 100-pcs limited edition? That's not Very Rare :)

Nice movement, even most of it are machined.

Needs to be thicker...

If someone tries to steal it I can beat them over the head with it : ) Pretty movement, but should be thinner.

You need a Doxa ....

It’s possible to take out anything with one ;-()

The videos I've seen on IG are very compelling

A tad on the thick side but overall a very good effort. Movement looks beautiful.

I love central minutes chronos...

 By: Fastwong : January 9th, 2020-11:57
... and the simplicity of the design. The central minutes chrono is so usable and clear, especially with the jump minute it's hard to go back to a traditional 2/3 subdial configuration. Moser's aesthetic has never totally resonated with me and this doesn'...

Have to see it in person first .

 By: Watchonthewrist : January 9th, 2020-11:58
Also i would pref to see a watch thats got more heritage from the brand then a watch that looks if its from the 70s but from another brand And without the complications . Pref a clean dial

Daring and successful design

My definition of a fantastic watch. Pulls from some of the greats, like the early 1980’s IWCs, but the overall package feels original, due to the chronograph and dial. Design is pleasing to the eyes while remaining a bit challenging. High quality, from th...

The design of the Signer Track1 best reproduces the concept of this chronograph movement.

 By: Dmitriy : January 10th, 2020-15:14
ps. The trend towards high prices for sports steel wristwatches is frightening and frustrating. And also not elegant design. Have designers run out of ideas elegant sports watches (as an example, Ebel Sport Classic)?

Finally see something really impressive from Moser again!

 By: social : January 11th, 2020-05:23
The movement is awesome and its decoration is top tier. The case and strap are modern yet classic. Love it!

You have to give it to Moser

 By: Brego : January 11th, 2020-06:39
They’re a gutsy company, not afraid to go their own way. I’m not sure I love this piece but I admire the overall package. And the movement is outstanding.

My problem with this watch...

 By: benlee338 : January 18th, 2020-22:48
is the dial. It just looks weird. Movement is stunning though.

The movement is

 By: MTR : January 19th, 2020-02:00
wonderful and breathtaking. I am a big Moser fan and I think they did a fantastic job with this chronograph. And also with the bracelet. Technically spoken. I can very well live with this case but definitely not with the dial. The “60” looks ... weird... ...
