The irony is, I deliberately had him ship the watch without a strap because of knowing how strict they are with leather strap regulations here! We'll see what happens now, I have no idea whatsoever.... Cheers, Filip

Love the new swordfish! The fired blue though is hard to photograph so excited to see it in person before really forming an opinion
The blue can go to almost black in some lights so I think it's going to awesome irl.

Thanks! I feared the same and used to always take my watch off but it seems like gyms have gotten child safety makeovers the last few years

That really is a stunning looking watch.
The articulating lugs always fascinate me as to just how simple yet clever they are, I didn't realise this was a DB 28 as don't know too much about DeBethune so I usually think of this one as the Star Trek watch. Wear and enjoy it in good health. Marc
Thank you! The lugs are a really great wearability feature. I forget they are even a thing until I swap to a normal watch and notice they are both less comfortable and move around more at the same time
Though, I do have a nagging thought that an elastic strap might accomplish the same 😂 one of these days I need to get an elastic strap for one of my watches ...
I’m a big DB fan, especially the 28 line including yours.
But I never thought of it as tough enough to take to gym. I guess it depends what you do in gym, but looks like you do everything. Very impressive, you and watch 💪🏽.
