Your choice: Blancpain, JLC or GO divers
Just for fun.
Regardless of price or collector's value.
Which is your choice as a daily wearer?
JLC POLARIS 65 LE (clearly the collectible winner, but try to think only in terms of the watch itself...)

Of the Three
By: db darien : May 31st, 2010-07:35
I generally go for the Teutonic functionality of German designs. But among the great Swiss names, JLC has always appealled to me. Among the three you display, and right now in terms of building on what I already have, I would go for the Polaris. I think a...

Every day I watch my Polaris -65. the heavier Polaris -65 and Polaris -68, I love them more and more. So Polaris would be my #1. I do not have the GO but without hesitation that would be #2. I have the Fifty Fathoms both in steel and in RG. I like these w...

But not quite fair....... You are comparing two modern divers (although classics) with a modern vintage..... Also the cases are different...... So, as a daily wearer, the Polaris wins as it is the more elegant one and thus more versatile.... (although the...

I have to agree with the majority on this one. Maybe it isn't a fair comparison as Pink Panther suggested... but aside from the much-more-collectible status of the '65, I think of these watches as in the same class... generally. I prefer the Polaris for i...

Funny, I have been thinking about the BP FF, as well, also as a daily wear watch. I gather you selected the Pola, which I think was a good choice. It works well as a daily piece. Congratulations, again on your choice. I have been thinking about both the A...
