CITIZEN makes Japanese watches more fun! I had an opportunity to visit Citizen's Design Center in Tokyo, thanks to the introduction by Ms. Kayama - Editor in Chief, World Wrist Watch magazine. Not a huge establishment, but very open, comfortable space in ...

.. underestimated brand. The atmosphere at the design studio was very vibrant and energetic. I would expect a lot from them going forward. Besides, I would like to try that Proximity watch (yes, I now have iPhone) badly.... but they don't tell us when it ...

... but shipping of Lithium Ion battery is a bit tricky... Only FedEx does, as far as I know. Considering the cost of the watch itself (unless you can get at huge discount :-), shipping individually may not make sense.... I may ask one of those friend who...

.. but the sample at the studio was not in a perfect shape, so used the stock photo. Anyway, it was beautiful for lady's wrist and you wouldn't believe the solar panel is there (the side of the inner dial)! Launch date is not yet known. Ken

We do not get the radio waves in Singapore. All my G shock are unable to sync as well. A crown would be helpful , but I like the techonology and aesthetics in a nice package!

.. or Satellite Wave although it is sold out, from time to time I see pre-owned pieces.... And proximity will be smaller for ladies, in the near future, too.... Ken

at 46mm looks on your wrist Ken - not overly large. I know we have similar wrist size and I'm also surprised how the new Seiko Astron fits me. I'm giving it some serious thought as well. :) Thanks for the report. fernando

.. it was my first time, too. Physically, their Design Studio is separate from the Head Office (which is far western Tokyo) and purposefully located in the Harajuku/ Aoyama, the most young and fashionable area of Tokyo, although it is not open to public, ...

Citizen Vitro Concept Watch: "......Also notice there is no crown as the time adjustment is done by radio wave." That is true trust in the brand giving full control to them to adjust your watch :-) I do not carry any Apple products - iPhone, iPad, iPod, w...

The ceramic eyes is the nicest looking imo. I've taken a liking to white watches recently and that is a real looker. Thanks for the review Ken, a great one as usual. Its a shame a lot of them are sold out already. Best G
