These depths would kill you before reaching 500 meters.
In real life a 300 m Submariner or 200 m Tudor is enough even for all technical diving. These top depth ratings are for desk divers. Best, Kari
As a Divemaster I'm allowed to go 40 m
and I agree with you about the sensible max depth. In 40 meters it starts to be dark and there is not much to see excluding wrecks. Best, Kari

and indeed, a diving watch is not needed. Like I have said many times in the past, a diving watch is pretty much history and good modern watches like all Rolex, Patek 5711, 5167, etc. are all good for the maximum depths of scuba diving. A watch with 50 me...

Can’t agree more.
But I still have a sea dweller and I don’t do saturation diving at all. What can I say.
I am simply scared.
If one would have a reason to come fast to the surface from such a depth, it can become the last voyage. Best Kari
