They’ve been able to create their own style in a crowded market.
But no, I don’t own one. It’s on a list but in all honesty there are few other brands that I would like to acquire even more then Hermès

I am not a Hermes person in general but this clearly deserves a good look. Is it slightly different than the Hodink** version?
Very well-designed watch. Lots of character and class.
The big Swiss houses could do well to take a page from Hermes's designers. I would have preferred a closed case back, as I don't prefer the everywhere-branded movement look. Overall a very nice piece. Cheers, John

How's the strap on this btw? I remember trying on a Tonda 1950 once and the Hermes strap on it felt a level above any other alligator strap I've touched.
