Hello guys, here is my latest addition. I am really impressed by the dial and hands finish and last but not least the movement (Vaucher). I will take the dial shots later, now wristhot and few movement details. Any other Hermes fans here? cheers Filip ...

I am not a Hermes person in general but this clearly deserves a good look. Is it slightly different than the Hodink** version?

The big Swiss houses could do well to take a page from Hermes's designers. I would have preferred a closed case back, as I don't prefer the everywhere-branded movement look. Overall a very nice piece. Cheers, John

Yes I’ve started to appreciate them more and more. They’ve been able to create their own style in a crowded market. But no, I don’t own one. It’s on a list but in all honesty there are few other brands that I would like to acquire even more then Hermès Bu... 

How's the strap on this btw? I remember trying on a Tonda 1950 once and the Hermes strap on it felt a level above any other alligator strap I've touched.

..straps are top notch. Handstitched, with high quality finish, lined with Zermatt.

Looked for it on the Hermès USA site — not there — is it a Paris Boutique edition?
