Yes...to show off is one...

Yes...to show off is one such.
Greetings!
Thanks for understanding. You are kind.
I must admit, I do show off, but honestly...not that much.
The reason is that I don't have even 10% of the SIZE and DEPTH of many here and elsewhere.
But if I had more watches, I might really show off.
The other thing is...I like everyone, like you and all here, to be LESS philosophical at times.
Because when we think TOO much, we will never have fun.
Life is to be shared and enjoyed.
I am DAMNED happy, that in around 2006, I reached a point in life
where I could say " wow...I am so happy so and so got a raise and found himself a millionaire".
In the past, envy would have spoilt it.
I wish that all the lucky Opus people and MBF owners would post, but....the fear of showing off spoils it.
Strangely, many of the non show offs, have too much class that they would not treat a waiter, cab driver, janitor, wih the same greetings or the same favors as he would, for someone else rich, and powerful.
On this forum...there are maybe many who have met Steve Jobs...I have.
I found him to be quite an irritant...and spoilt.
BUT...later..on learning more...I forgave him.
Because I was no better.
Lastly...don't do what Chris Mccandless
did.
