I have to admit that UTS watches are in my eyes perfect incarantion of clumsiness as a design principle. Especially sports, better: diving watches have become subject of this design trend. The less refined the finish, the more massive the enginnering, the more popular these watches are. Compared with this, the Submariner is an epitome of intricacy, in spite of the fact that elegance was not on the very top of its product brief.
I admit that the Sub is not a really uncommon watch, but from a horological point of view, it is far ahead of the UTS - and you didn't leave us any real choice, limiting the trading options to one.

I haven't had news from UTS for a long time by the way. If you look for the horological contents, go to the Rolex... if you look for an exclusive watch with a low probality to see on your neighbour's wrist... keep the UTS. But when you start to consider a...

If yes why not. Sub is a good watch, a lifetime companion.

I flirted with getting one a few times at least. The bulk of it, the personally made case. the feeling of a man's vision in the watch, this is all very cool. And it's a beast, let's face it, a huge, heavy watch, but well done. the Rolex Sub C, well... can...
