When A Watchmaker Can't...
Get all the visible movement screw heads aligned in the same direction. For $100k you'd feel a bit of effort to get all the screws closely aligned in the same direction would be part of the inherent build quality. Sure it's OCD, yet we're talking ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS to get it right. i look forward to the watchmaker who is up to the challenge.

I do find the balance wheel floating on top of the dial obnoxious
OP doesnt care if he is in the minority. I am a big fan of Haldimann though. I you are going to put the balance wheel in the center of the dial that is the way to do it.
My watch pet peeve is when the crown is not at 3 o'clock
I know on some watches , such as the Lange Zeitwerk it can't be helped, but I prefer the crown to be at the 3 0'clock position.

Yes agree on the RO construction
The older ROs had solid monobloc casebacks I heard, and the only way to remove the movement was via the front.
