What a fantastic post!
I had no idea that watches and watchmaking were so ingrained into the history of Hermes. It was a fascinating journey through their history, this article! Thanks for all the wonderful pictures too. Regardless of one's interest in their watches (I think the new Dressage is quite nice based on the pictures), you've got to give Hermes props. These are not mere "fashion watches."
