I don't want to push the issue but it it is not so much about "Billionaires" (These people did not get there by making stupid decisions). At 12k it is just insane even if you have all the money in the world. Maybe there is a "niche" collectors market for such product and yes, items like that do really sell for this money. I just have never been exposed to this before.

I think the original hour glass from Newson was at the same price range... this item did not sell at all I think because now they say "from 6000$" which is just a deposit..so a bit misleading as the price is not 6000$..very weird really. I guess they don'...
