I have two. The first is an Accutron that I cut lawns to afford and ordered from a retailer in Chicago when I was about 13...it was pretty expensive for a young man at that age. I abused it and recently had it restored which cost a lot more than the watch...

Twas back in the high school days. I was nuts about them. Then my first "real" watch, ie, mechanical, was a Rolex GMT Master. I got that when I got my first job.

Great topic...only got into watches a few years ago--this is the one that started it--lots of sentimental value: bought it for graduation/birthday/new job...that was quite a year....
