Surprisingly, a pocket watch ...
Actually my first horological love is this pocket watch. It belonged to my grandfather and it kindled my horological interests at a formative age. It finally came into my hands when I finished University and will ultimately pass to my kids.

I think it started with a Swatch.
Twas back in the high school days. I was nuts about them. Then my first "real" watch, ie, mechanical, was a Rolex GMT Master. I got that when I got my first job.
