Do you remember your first love?
Hi Everybody,
that's right...your first love,the one you never forgot,the one which triggered the passion for new loves,maybe more interesting,precious,slick ones.
But nothing,nothing can make you forget it.
Well,I'm lucky enough to still have my first one....I got it as a present from my parents 22 years ago,yeah that's right.I was a teen ager then(sigh!).This has been with me for every single day till I discover,as a grown man,a new incredible interest in watches a couple of years back.
For 20 years on my wrist ,day in day out,on holiday,in the shower,in the sea,on every trip,at night on my wrist...always.
Even though the least precious of my collection,certainly the most valuable for me,my companion throughout my journey from a boy to a man.
Even more so now that my appreciation for watches grew and grew,I treasure this as my closest possession and reminds me of my family even though far away.
They say they are just watches ,but I believe they can bring people together:friendship,relationships,memories.

I have two. The first is an Accutron that I cut lawns to afford and ordered from a retailer in Chicago when I was about 13...it was pretty expensive for a young man at that age. I abused it and recently had it restored which cost a lot more than the watch...

I think it started with a Swatch.
Twas back in the high school days. I was nuts about them. Then my first "real" watch, ie, mechanical, was a Rolex GMT Master. I got that when I got my first job.
