Hi Graham, Their good gesture has been rewarded by you. For $30.00, they get good publicity here. Worth it. BTW, your watch looks even better with the new dial. I agree that brand name is insignificant when we talk about relatively less expensive watches....

thanks Fernando, it is now perfect in looks. i think they will survive as they have been going a few years and seem to sell all of the models they make every year. this was designed in 2010 for 2011 release and sold, they then made a B43 bronze which has ... 

Graham, How bronze compares to other metals in terms of scratch resistance? I have the impression that bronze is more "soft" or the eventual, and unavoidable, scratches are part of the watch "character" formation? Cheers

hi Nilo, firstly thank you, secondly, the bronze doesnt appear to scratch any easier than steel, in fact i tried to scratch it with the tip of a pair of scissors and couldnt, but if you did it would patinate over easily. on the other hand you can use meta...

thanks Christian, the patina is now very different to when it was new. it was a bright gold colour then, but now it has taken on an unpolished brass colour with lighter patches on the ends of the lugs where clothing rubs on it. you should keep an eye on t...

thanks OC, there does seem to be some excitement about these bronze pieces. i checked the forum where i bought it today and a Helson Shark Diver bronze sold in less than 24 hours. other pieces can sit on there for weeks or months. best G

couple of question : 1) what is "boiling egg treatment"? 2) dial says 500m....did the brand provide any evidence to such claims? glad the owners of the brand knows customer service well, and the watch and experience is pleasing to you. congrats best, Horo

hi Horo, firstly i'll answer 2. their product description states 500m wr and it does have a fairly thick crystal and solid bezel. the movement comes out the front as well. they specialise in dive watches so i dont doubt their claims. as for the 'boiled eg... 

generally, i do not like brands to who plonk a depth capability for the sake of "filling out the dial". when Azimuth launched the Sea Hum, I said quite plainly to them that they need to "prove" the depth capability stated. anyway, thats just me. reference...
