ALL modified Rolexes make me want to grab a hammer. But I saw one modded Daytona on this site (not a Bamford) sell recently --quickly--for a large price. No idea if it's doomed or not. But as a Purist... Nevvver MOD A ROLEX. I feel sadness and concern when I see a Bamford, for my fellow collector who may not know the trouble he's getting into, long term. Not to mention, I just dislike Bamford's style choices whether applied to Rolex or any physical object.
Question to all the experts ! Are Bamford Daytona’s collectible and will they be sort after ?
Have an opportunity to acquire one from a friend . I like it as it’s different . They don’t do Rolex Bamfords anymore I hear . What do u say ? ...

Never liked PVD coated watches, from anyone, especially not after-market ones. Its same as tuning a ferrari! Why would you do that? Regards.
In my personal opinion
I see Bamford as the same category as “tampered with”, redial, frankenwatch. Something I would never touch. Others may see it differently and that’s fine.
Collectible? Sure Sought after l8r? who knows. Demand is outstrippin supply in most asset classes with #millionaires at all time highs. Plus cash offers no return. It doesnt take consensus

Let’s say it’s a modern submariner - then buy two. Keep one all original and customize the second to your pleasure. Life is too short not to enjoy. My two cents. Best,
No and no. I’m pretty certain of that. BUT, there are a number of Bamfords which I really like and would not hesitate to pick up at the right price.
