tried the JLC in person
very understated with the dial color but the finishing looks good and rich in person. I haven't seen the iwc in person.
The JLC complicated dial seems natural and harmonious to me but the IWC is better off with the date only.. I don't like the 3 registers on the patterned dial seems out of place.

I like them both but voted IWC.
I prefer the larger size and more vivid blue. The lack of a seconds hand is not so good though. All the best, Jon

Hard to pick but if pressed I’d opt for the JLC based on bracelet.

So close as I think the bracelet looks great. The watch itself is a snoozer.

elegance goes to JLC / sporty goes to IWC If pressed, my vote would lean towards the JLC.
