They can imagine?

How nice to live in Fantasyland.  If they didn't have to suffer the humiliation of putting their name on a "list", which is as imaginary as the pacification it's intended to have, while agonizing both in real life and online for 9 months waiting for a precious timepiece to be delivered, they don't know.  Everyone is posting about how wonderful there's is and showing off photos.

One day a call comes to your cellphone.  You're about to dismiss the intrusion when you see it's your AD.  In the excitement the glass of water slips and breaks on the floor.  Damn!.  After a quick clean up you rush out and head to your destiny.  Everything is perfect and the deal is done.  Great!  Head home to get a better look and for some personal inspection.  You gaze upon this beauty while smiling gleefully.  Then, as you look up and start walking towards the kitchen there's a....."KNOCK!" that came from the door beside you.  No one understands unless they've been there.

I was just trying to make a joke which clearly didn't work. I wasn't being serious in any way at all. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

You fooled me. [nt]

Many years ago, I was playing catch with my then seven year old twin nephews, lost . . .

. . . my footing, and fell onto the pavement. On the way down, I was thinking, "Thank God I'm wearing the old Seiko today."

I've had the same thought diving down to catch my then-2 year old to save him from a possible head injury πŸ˜€

He was fine, but sadly I was wearing my Omega 300M seamaster. There is a permanent reminder of the day on the watch now. I kinda learned to like it πŸ˜€ A friend of mine wrote about my watch on the Australian Watch website Time&Tide Watches It’s my β€œPaul New...

. . . of stories: Scott, who's participated here occasionally as sdd7820, bought a black Seamaster 300 as his first watch in '05. One day he banged it up on a rock while surfing. Sold it shortly thereafter. Years went by. While scanning TimeZone's for-sal...

Last night I asked my wife after showing her this post ...

 By: ChristianDK : July 2nd, 2019-11:55
And she just gave me an ice cold stare - no words spoken! Just a long silence followed ... ...Today she came home and said she had reconsidered. One of her patients had accidentally banged the door handle against her Rolex I gave her as a wedding present....

Yes
