That is one of my issues with any bracelet, eventually it will stretch to the point that the adjacent links rub against each other. Friction and loss of material is inevitable when two parts are moving against each other. I wonder if there is any innovati...

when the bracelet is wearing too loose the problems begins. Both the pins and the links get damages. Michael really knows how to get those bracelets a new life.

My recommendation for any metal linked bracelet, is to keep them clean, free of tiny particles that cause the stretch over time. The obvious one is salt water use, the residual salt left behind if not rinsed in fresh water, is a big reason for the metal t... 

But it is more the abrasive effect of the tiny sharp crystals rather than a chemical one, so always best to rinse after salt water I say. Cheers, Tim
