With 70 hours power reserve - might as well be a Rolex movement - which it is, given that it\'s made in the same factory, just not finished to the same degree. So technically, it\'s not that far off, given that all these types of (Rolex, Tudor) movements ... 

I wonder how Rolex allowed the reasonable pricing. Best, Kari

the US market again, and of course the retro appeal of the Black Bays is very much "in" again, as are all tool watches nowadays... Then again, one can see that profit margins aren\'t really that affected and so it makes sense to get the younger buyer hook...

Completely. The bronze is just lovely and I don\'t see that much difference now between the two brands... In terms of mechanical quality at least. Julian

The BB Red with the ETA movement, and the BB In house movement, even if I am still waving between the Black and the Bronze.

Not totally sure about the brown hue. Not totally sure about the proportions of the case, as I find the normal BB big enough...

It is a wonderful movement for sure! My point was, if I use the old car analogy, it\'s the same v10 engine in an R8 and certain Lamborghinis. Developed and designed by the same overall team - Audi. Just the implementation is different. Made in the same pl...

If I make something in my summer house, or my main house, it\'s still my house. The expertise is the same, the training, standards, manuals, operating procedures, material buying standards, technology investments, efficiencies, design implements, cost sav... 

Rolex and Tudor have the same owner. You would hardly claim that Vacheron Constantin and A. Lange & Söhne are the same either, correct?

A million watches a year, at which factory, one never knows which parts are made where - which is a good thing as they all get a similar QC process probably. Definitely the difference is there, but don\'t forget the distinctiveness of Lange and Vacheron i...

... Mine has proved to be a very tough watch surviving a fall form a Parisian restaurant table while taking pictures of it and continued working perfectly with a little nick on one lug. (Ouch!!) It is very accurate too so I don´t mind about the ETA moveme... 

... This was the picture I was shooting when my BB fell while manipulating it! Gosh! I was so scared I was afraid to take a look at my watch! It only got a very small scar under one lug! But keeps working perfectly to this day!! Un abrazo mi amigo!! Abel ...  

Definitely under appreciated, and you\'re making me think of getting mine out of the safe. I haven\'t worn it for months, because the bracelet makes it a little uncomfortable for me in the hot and humid weather and I haven\'t gotten down to ordering that ...

I\'m still very interested in the watch. Last time I almost got it, it got beaten by the Chopard LUC Sport but I will probably pull the trigger sooner rather than later. Waiting for the 36mm model to reach shops first, before deciding which one to take.

I love all : the composition with all these drops of water giving the impression of a 99% humidity atmosphere reinforced by this dark background, the perfect crisp focus as always (do you use a focus stacking software like Helicon focus ?), and of course ... 

No stacking, just a super sharp Zeiss lens.
