The Omega Seamaster
as in my icon (avatar) that I have inherited from my father, should be dated in the 1960s, has never been serviced. It is still clicking punctually.
I also have a Rolex Oyster that was last serviced in 2008, and am still wearing it.
What's the longest you've owned a watch without servicing it?
I had a Panerai with purchased in ~2004 or so that was never serviced finally die. Was worn pretty actively the whole time! What's your "record"?
Some of my watches are 20+ years old and are still kicking and keeping good time.
Then, there have been some that failed early on but they mostly were still under warranty.
IWC Portofino from 1999, still going strong despite not being worn for ages.
Basic ETA movement slightly enhanced by IWC.
Regrets, I've had a few
Purchased new, PAM195, never serviced, still kicking 20 years.. Longines, chrono, 1980, got it from the original owner, it has never been serviced. nearly 45 years w/o service. .. Tissot,18k manual wind, early 60's, in the family since new, never serviced...
