The Minase Five Windows
The Minase Five Windows ref. VM03 has been designed by Hirokuni Yamamoto, taking inspiration from Ysegi Zaiku, Japanese 3D puzzles: all 5 surrounding anti-reflective sapphire โwindowsโ (crystals) give the impression that the dial floats inside of the rectangular case.
There's something about this design that I find appealing.

Love Minase, and the five windows is my favorite model.
.I do have to say that I have never heard a criticism of the date window when I have read a few about the one on my IWC Mark 17. Neither bother me.
It might be because the Mark 17 is midway between the traditional date window
and a newer design: so, people tend to expect the traditional design and are upset not to find it. Here, bridges have been broken with the traditional design. Just my two cents... Best, Emmanuel PS: I also like the design of the M3.
