Emmanuel, known as quattro on WatchProSite, introduces the Jui 聚, a significant collaboration between Watch Ho & Co. and Selten. His detailed post highlights the watch's unique design elements and the rich cultural symbolism embedded within, offering collectors a deep dive into its horological and artistic merits. This article explores the intricate details and community spirit behind this distinctive timepiece.
Released in 2025, the Jui 聚 (meaning “to meet” or “to gather”) is a collaboration between Watch Ho & Co., a Hong Kong-based watch community and club founded by Jackie Ho, and indie brand Selten.

The
dial is cut from natural black
Tahitian mother-of-pearl.
Selten
engraves the surface with a
CNC-
machined guilloché-style “
mountain” pattern, a motif derived from the
armour of ancient
China, historically associated with
unity and
protection.

The
pattern has been
reinterpreted to represent
individual collectors within the wider
watch community.
Surrounding the central Y motif are rings of finely intersecting circles symbolising the range of collecting styles, local clubs, and international networks.
Skeletonised sword hands are coherent with the armour reference and allow most of the dial to remain visible.

The
iridescent surface has
shifting tones of
green,
violet,
red, and
blue.

On the dotted
chapter ring, at
2 o'clock, a discreet
Chinese numeral marks the fact that this watch was created to
celebrate Watch Ho & Co.’s
second anniversary.

The
case, made of 316L grade
stainless steel offers
50 m of
water resistance and measures
39 x
9.95 x
45.5 mm.

The Jui 聚 is powered by
Miyota’s 9039 automatic calibre, a slim no-date movement.

So,
what do you
think about this watch? Does it
appeal to you?
