The Longines Military watch (in dummy)

Well... Eversince my colleague interested in military watches and his love for the military things, the release of the Longines (tribute to RAF) Military watch in Baselworld 2018 really blown him away... Well... I know that this piece is quite controversial with its "overload faux patina" on its dial, but I mean, when looking a watch that looks vintage with a two years warranty, automatic movement 65h power reserve with no "automatic" writing on the dial, simple, "clean" dial really making me exited as well. Then, he quickly made an order to this piece but it's not being ready until now.... Yet. 😂 Planning to enter the local market in this early December, here's the sneak a peak of what's the hype is all about...











I have to say, this is a very cool looking watch (dummy) ! Well... Tbh if it was originally released in 33mm like the OG has, some would need time to be adapted with the size that nowadays could be considered "feminine".

His wrist is pretty small though, he wore 33mm like nothing! While my a little bigger wrist still need some adjustment to get used to it... 🤣


But I find that this 38.5 mm size is pretty much perfect!



Just seems a little bit bigger than my C-shape...


I know that this watch is just trying too hard, but really, I couldn't help but appreciate what Longines did. And yeah, each dial is unique as it was randomly sprayed so... You knew you got something a little bit special....
