. . . is that it's been refinished. Or, in other words, not as originally delivered by Omega.
Bringing this one up to original condition will require an original replacement. Omega no longer supplies service dials for this reference, so essentially you'll have to find one on the secondary market.
Of course, your sister can choose not to source an original dial, but then it won't have much interest to a collector.
