I have no complaints and am happy with what I have, although I always envy other people’s collection too 😊.

And an interesting question. For me it is only important for microbrands or lower cost watches. At lower price points and with microbrands, cosc is a nice guarantee that the brand cares enough to bother with going beyond slapping a miyota into an AliExpre... 

I guess the same goes with ISO 9000, TS16949 and other certifications, it’s a brand image for a company and some assurance to customers that we are worthy and trustworthy. I agree expensive brands should and must make accurate watches, at the very least s... 

My maximum spectrum is time only to a perpetual calendar chrono is all I need and want 🙌🏻🙏🏻

and I have to say the rubber is soft and comfortable. Easily moved to outer angle ...  

The issue then must have been the other pics on smaller wrists.

It will fit on current black dial Speedmater too.

I’m not sure if you know, but I’m curious if there are other Omega steel bracelets that would fit this like the current bracelet. I like another bracelet style I saw on the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary watch. I can ask about that too.

A Chronometer has to be certified by an Independant Authority. COSC is. Is is the case for METAS? I like the idea of a Chronometer Certified. It could also be done by an Observatory. Now, if you don't care about the Chronometer Title, no problem, you are ...

METAS is far more than just COSC accuracy, plus any good quality modern timepiece can be re-'brated to +/-3 seconds, even a lowly Timex.

Is Cosc and Metas necessary? Resent i looked for a watch for enrich my collection. I know the brand delivers a non Cosc and Cosc model of the model. Lucky it is a Cosc the watch i want. So, i look if there is a certification. I did not inspect the lug to ...

Sure, the special WPS editions belongs to our friends. I am aiming on a red gold 39,5 mm H1, so i only must chose a dial color, hands treatment and some other bespoke stuf. The decision is not taken fully, but it is always good to have a grail watch in mi...

I know many brand dont have any certification but still have great accuracy but you can have hit and miss. One such example that burn me was VC. While most of their watch are well regulated They officially do not guarantee better then 8 sec per day which ... 

Every week they look different and feeling fresh to me That's a shame to hear about the VC...what have they done or not done?? I have been on the fence to add my first VC but I'm really tired to start a new "relationship". Maybe I'll just wait for opportu... 

My other previous VC all ran within 2 sec/day. They refused to do it as their official certification allows for ~8 sec/day. I was so furious that I decided to sell it on the used market (I did not make money on this - even lost a bit). What bothered me is... 

Rolex certainly does get official certification! That's why all three Rolex dials in this picture say "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified"!

But I do like to know what the +/- per day is before I buy a watch. My Zeitwerk used to gain ~12 - 20 seconds a day, which to me was OK given the complication, but would have hoped for closer to ~5 - 10 seconds a day... I also do like my tool type watches... 

my ZW Date was also within 5s window but I think your ZW can be easily regulated. The main purpose of a watch is to tell time and the expensive ones being accurate, to me is a must and minimum requirement.

Interestingly, the Speedmaster with the white dial really stands out here. Very intriguing indeed... When it comes to rotation, I'm not as … restless as you. 🙏 I usually get a watch from the bank safe that I really feel like wearing and then I wear it wit... 

There are some weeks that I am also lazy to switch out and just wore the same watch for days....but I wind the others and keep checking in. We definitely have some first world "problems"...good problem to have. Have a great week!
