I think Langes are quite accurate even without official certification...like the 1815 HG is only -2s for 3 days....
my ZW Date was also within 5s window but I think your ZW can be easily regulated.
The main purpose of a watch is to tell time and the expensive ones being accurate, to me is a must and minimum requirement.

COSC is for the movement NOT ENCASED. If my memory serves me well, METAS is for the movement encased in the watch, right?

I'd prefer METAS over COSC.
METAS is far more than just COSC accuracy, plus any good quality modern timepiece can be re-'brated to +/-3 seconds, even a lowly Timex.

But I do like to know what the +/- per day is before I buy a watch. My Zeitwerk used to gain ~12 - 20 seconds a day, which to me was OK given the complication, but would have hoped for closer to ~5 - 10 seconds a day... I also do like my tool type watches...
