Gav's post below reminded me of that situation...I think this is a (now) known problem with their ceramic execution in the GS case.
It is friction set.
I believe J*D will rectify this for you..they should at least.

And why it happened. I guess it is the design of the movement housing being held in the casing. And I also believe the ceramic case is also a factor so I do think that it may happen again.

And the Manufacture fixed it at no costs as mine was still under warranty. And I got it back after around 3 months. Went through my AD but they did not have the means to fix it so it went back to JD. Hope this helps and keep us updated.
