Same thing happened to me.
Had the same happened to my ceramic grande secondes some time ago and I had bought in new for less than 6 months before it happened. Posted that here too.

Had to send it back to the manufacture to get it fixed. JD was able to get it fixed faster than I had expected. However they failed to give any explanation which I felt I deserved. Hope this helps.

And why it happened. I guess it is the design of the movement housing being held in the casing. And I also believe the ceramic case is also a factor so I do think that it may happen again.

And the Manufacture fixed it at no costs as mine was still under warranty. And I got it back after around 3 months. Went through my AD but they did not have the means to fix it so it went back to JD. Hope this helps and keep us updated.
