Dear Purist Pro's - I come forth to ask you all a question that I am sure you may have all considered at some point? When is it time to consolidate your collection and attempt to purchase one watch for everyday wear? Like most of you I am sure I have been...

The so called "grail" normally is something that is no longer a grail, once you got it. Cheers, Nilo

Purist Pro's Thanks for taking the time to answer my post and for the greetings! The one thing I can take from your responses is that there is no right or wrong answer for this - it's a feeling that comes and goes for me. My thoughts now are to take a ste... 

then came quantity, now it is quality and quantity together and I am still thinking perhaps I should go for one super duper quality but I am afraid then I will have super duper quality and quantity itch! My feeling is that the problem never ceases as more... 

At the very least I need a work watch, dress watch and sports watch. I couldn't do with much less. There may well come a time to consolidate, and you may cycle through this more than once, but it is also important to have been able to experience ownership... 

It's my personal view I'd rather retain my 'old, loyal and known friends' rather than let them go (to possibly regret later) in a possible trade for one 'grail', which will anyhow have to prove itself after it is in the bag. And anyhow, I can't see any on...
