I can no longer fully enjoy perpetual calendar watches :-) Besides, no date, three hands are easy to adjust and I can go out in a minute - I like those..... especially the "old" Langes! Ken

Yes its a pain in this fast life to set your watch(perp cal aghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!)when you are in a hurry to get out of the house and want a change of timepiece... But its hard to resist the beauty of some...i coudn t live without my AP Perp skeleton..probabl... 

I lioke your statement: the simple time only pieces will always have a place in our hearts because it basically boils down to the essence of telling time. So much more versatile. Br, Dirk

Admittedly, that is in part because my eyes are not up to reading small dials any more. However, I am (at least for the moment) still up to remembering the date. I like the idea of a watch that provides only the information I cannot track using my own bra...

Of course, time only watches are very dear to our heart. When they come without date... ;) I would go for both complicated and simple. I think this is not this criteria which makes me love a Watch, but its coherence, elegance, originality sometimes, sophi... 

.. and only one, I would go for the simple, time-only type. But, as we all know, some complication(s) can feed our quest for " more", more watch, more time, more pleasure (?) .. But that equation is not always coherent with what we ourselves define as the...

My collection has transformed from many watches (by my standards, tiny to many of you collectors) of varying brands, horological complications to just a few simple sports watches and dress watches (using the term loosely). I think not being able to give t...  

But there are a verrrry small number of grand complications that compete for Ultimate in my mind... However, if I had to generalize.... SIMPLE, by far.

I do love a good chrono and the moonphase complication intrigues me, but if I had one watch only, it would be a three hander. This is a candidate: This would be my back up...manual wind put's it in a very close second position ;) Cheers, Tim ...  

Fernando,I really like how you matured your tastes and how you address and create discussions...you seem a very discerning man... As For me,well I have my principles... Random thrown in complications don t do it for me....for example I don t like watches ... 

You give me too much credit though for being discerning and with mature taste. I'm forever grappling with the idea of what really floats my boat when it comes to timepieces. One never really knows or is able to make a proper assessment of a timepiece unti...
