A piece I also (jokingly) turn up my nose to is this gorgeous quartz bracel…ehm, watch my girlfriend just acquired…we are in fact both over the moon as this is her first Patek!😁❤️

Well, I must be a watch snob, then. :))) You can find a great mechanical watch for less than an expensive quartz watch from some brands.

Another good suggestion, this is actually one of the few Quartz models I wouldn't mind for myself! ;-) I doubt its MSRP is below $10k (this is not a "mid-level" brand), plus access is hard for non-established collectors, but that's another story! ;-)
