Horological Meandering

This is an article I posted on my blog that I'd like to share here and maybe get some opinons and feedback. I normally don't like to compare brands but it seems that this topic will remain hotly contested regardless of what any single blog or person says....  

It is always interesting to read different opinions. However, it would be important to emphasize that the claims are just opinions. I also think that you should pay some more attention to facts like the year when Patek was established, the usage of outsid... 

Was there anything else about the use of outside movements that isn't correct? Thanks

Patek has ever a taste for very simple and pure watch, has always tried new technologies when they were available (Quartz in the 70s, silicon now). They rarely go nuts on their models (some exception exists as always).But I won't say their caliber is bett... 

I think you're right that the reason it's so hard to compare brands is because you're buying individual watches and not entire brands. But I think the flip side of that is you are paying a premium for the brand as well so it has to count for something. I ... 

and RO tourbillon skeleton is a hell of a watch that's for sure!
