It is always interesting to read different opinions. However, it would be important to emphasize that the claims are just opinions.
I also think that you should pay some more attention to facts like the year when Patek was established, the usage of outside movements, etc.

I think you're right that the reason it's so hard to compare brands is because you're buying individual watches and not entire brands. But I think the flip side of that is you are paying a premium for the brand as well so it has to count for something. I ...
