I been through this horology world long enough to know that there are only two things.. sadly.. one is money.. and another is ego.. you can get real friendship.. but its rare.. not everyone will give a simple friendship watch to another watch friend.. not many real friendship around.. at least in my country.. if you got a few.. you are blessed and lucky.. i saw many who broke up after years together in gtg and attending events together.. i know people who collect watches for many years.. some said during 1990s.. some said 1980s.. and so on.. but in the end.. they dont really understand what is a watch.. therefore it caused a lot of unhappiness.. a watch means nothing unless there is a meaning behind it.. 1) I dont really intend "into watches".. i was in a shopping mall and i walked past a store and it had a FM Crazy Hours big poster then i thought it was interesting.. then i did a search online for watch forum.. and ThePuristS pop up and i also found Time...
To add a bit more info here because last night i had a tired brain but cant sleep so didnt wrote it well..
No disrespect.. but when i found out TP and TZ.. then FM crazy hours(i think debut in 2002.. cant remember..) doesnt look very interesting compared to the hot models at that point of time (still classic and popular now).. example simplicity, dato and reso...

Most of the time when i cant sleep or i sleep late.. then you will see me posting in US hours.. Sometimes i post in evening of my country time and sometimes day time for example my lesson 2.. unless i recalled wrongly.. i dont have a fixed time.. its all ...

This thread is set up because i cant sleep that night.. yesterday didnt reply because i managed to sleep.. Baron.. old members.. not in contact anymore.. i was active with them for 1 - 2 years thats all.. maybe they forgotten me by now.. and its many year...
Happy to meet up with them that night.. that was the only GTG after so many years.. i dont keep contact with anyone here.. as sometimes i am quite low profile..
Members can always PM me here.. and if one ask me to go for a GTG or whoever visit singapore and want to meet me.. if i can make it.. i will do it for the member.. including you baron.. hope to see you in person one day..

Maybe you own one.. its a good watch.. and walt odets review of 1.96 is a classic..
To me.. he is the best writer of horology.. unique writer with full of passion..
