Horological Meandering

Hi, PuristS. Today (September 7th) is my birthday. I was born a day like this of 1974. I would like to excuse myself for posting photographs of just one watch lately, but they're hard times to me. I must have the doubtful privilege of being the poorest me...  

Happy Birthday my friend. That is a good looking Heuer Chronograph. Poor and rich are all in the mind. A couple of years ago, I recall Bill Gates in a slum in India spending sometime with a family of four that lived in less than 300sq.ft but looked extrem... 

I always post pics of the same few 'cheap' watches i have ... and you don't even want to know what i did the last weeks ... :-( Poor Filip

I got all the enthusiasm and passion untouched, Andrew. In the last years I've spent a lot of hours reading hodinkee, equation du temps, fratello watches, gianvittorioheuer, etc. from A to Z.

Have a great day. You have one very nice looking chronograph which I would be proud to own and cherish. I am on puristspro to learn and for the friendship. There are many watches at price points that I would never be able to afford, but that does not keep... 

And this Heuer is a pleasure to see. There will be better times, and then maybe a sister to this Carrera? Another Carrera, Heuer, or? This watch will be special one for you, a trusty companion which shared the good and the bad times... A sentumental keepe...

I used to listen to his records when I was 18-year-old. I saw him once in concert in Las Ventas (Madrid). Thank you for your comment. I agree: this chronograph is a watch that is worth keeping.
