Technical question on chronographs
I am looking into buying a vintage chronograph. However, it often does not reset back to zero but the seconds hand lands a few seconds to the left or to the right of zero seconds. Are you aware of the underlying reason and how this would need to be fixed?

Your watchmaker will have to 'set' the hands.
It's a common problem with vintage chronographs.
