Horological Meandering

Being a very faithful update to the original, this was THE SUB for me, so I had to have it.

Since then, my passion got only stronger.

Now this last september, towards the end of the anniversary year, Doxa announced a re-issue of the Aqua-Lung SUB 300, with “U.S. Divers Co.” Aqua-Lung dial logo. 

It is already quite "rare" to see an original watch from this collaboration.

But among these originals, the ones with the black circular logo on the dial, are beyond rarity, almost non-existent. 

So, the “Black Lung" re-issue had to be the natural extension of SUB 300 Anniversary, together with the modern day Aqua Lung company - which has a fixed blade anniversary dive knife in the works as well -
I received mine before the Thanksgiving as promised by Doxa. Some pics are below, together with the standard issue SUB 300. 

I now do believe that orange is an addiction. 

(no need to take my word anyway... Andrew is a solid orange proof we have )
