Restoration is Completed.
The restoration is completed. I went ahead and used the crown that was on it. It looks well enough. The band is a Timex marathon. For those looking for stems, 11OKACB and uncut new old stock 11ULCB watch stems are compatible. Just don't cut off too much the first snip. Repeated stem filing gets the crown to fit the way it should or you'll be using a stem extender if you go too far. I suppose the function of the world time ring is to rotate it to your location time and observe what time it would be in other places along with phase of the sun. I'm keeping this one.
