Horological Meandering

Responses to your qustions...

I think I was initially attracted to the all white color case and strap.

I'm not sure if other women prefer lighter watches (assuming you mean light in terms of color).  I would think not particularly.  It all depends on the individual and the occasion.  I probably wouldn't choose the B&R as my primary watch.  I'd want something more classic.  If you meant lighter in terms of weight, most women probably prefer something not as heavy since some of us are by nature more weak in the arm.  I'm sure a lot of women (not all) prefer having the diamonds if given the choice.  However for me, I like a cleaner look. I feel like the diamonds sometimes take away from the beauty of the watch as a mechanical instrument.  Don't get me wrong, there is definitely something about diamonds and I love them on my fingers, in my ears and on my neck...just not on my watch.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the B&R.  I didn't mind the bulkiness.  The ownership was short lived due to the fact that it got in the way while carrying my small baby. Perhaps in the future I will consider it again when the kids are older.
