Horological Meandering

I have long been interested in watches outfitted with regulator dials. I've owned a Chronoswiss Regulator, Goldpfeil Moon Regulator, Oris Regulator Diver, and others. So here is a list of fine Swiss, German and (?) other regulator wristwatches.  I thought it might be interesting to catalog some of the dial layout variations. Of course, this was a naive intention. I did not suspect that I'd find so many... and that I would create so many dial layouts. I admit this has become an obsession!

I define a regulator as a watch in which the seconds , minutes , and hours hands are each on separate shafts. However, as you will see as you scroll down, there are a number ways to interpret this theme, display these features and other complications.

For convenience, at this point I am NOT covering square or tonneau shaped cases, or oddball hands that traverse oblong circuits or watches with balls to indicate the time.

Perhaps together we can make this THE DEFINITIVE CATALOG OF REGULATOR WATCH CONFIGURATIONS.
