Probably because technically they were unable to center the "MAR" as it would overrun the small second axis... ? Anyway I agree the "MONTH" is useless and should be removed, unless they left it for overall balance of the dial ?

Why can't they get rid of "MONTH" and center "MAR" by making it also a bit bigger? ...
At least I heard they got rid of Annual Calendar wording….

Just tried this exact model on today
And it is so much more striking in person. Especially, the guilloché dial which is beautifully executed. The applied batons, the minutes chapter and the knurled bezel. Gorgeous watch. All the positive aspects of the watch made me forget the word "month".....

But based on the pics looks quite nice but will be good if the text “Month” is omitted.
Wish they had finished the movement better
Very functional design. Excellent caliber, but definitely can benefit from more attention to finishing. cheers
