That R.W.S. is out of this world. Your collection?

Yes, it is mine.

 By: samwan : April 6th, 2020-03:17
got it in Dec 2016

Very impressed

Kudos to you Sir!

I miss seeing your special Series 2 Sam!

Mine is due at the end of next year! The watch simply outclasses every other power reserve watch - the guilloche dial, the three dimenisonal hands, the special engraving on the dial, the superlative movement and even the case. Have you considered ordering...

You must show us yours when it arrives

 By: samwan : April 6th, 2020-03:19
did you order customized engraving? No, I am not in line for another RWS. My next target is a Patek Worldtime...

Which world time Sam?

The 5231G that has not been released?! I am waiting for that one! Roger and I will go discuss my preferences early next year before the watch goes into production. I am open to any of his ideas

5231J or R

For the cloisonne enamel dial, I prefer the yellow or rose gold, but will settle for the white gold if eventually offered to me

If I may politely say so Sam

 By: sham1 : April 6th, 2020-08:45
you don't seem like a man who settles for just anything!

Yes, it is a very interesting watch

Watching the jumping seconds is mesmerizing. My only complaint is that the jumping seconds mechanism and the minute hand are not synchronized...

Exactly

 By: samwan : April 6th, 2020-03:47
The two sets of mechanisms function separately

True

 By: samwan : April 6th, 2020-03:48
I had to adjust myself in order to read the time on the RL

Thanks

I agree that the Roger Smith is in a different league of its own....

impressive array of grails Sam....

the engraving on the Roger Smith wins over all the mechanical marvels ! Best, mahesh.,

Yes, it turns out better than I originally imagined

Definitely one of my treasured pieces

Fantastic group of watches.

Looove the FPJ VBIII

The RWS is a nice dress watch

 By: samwan : April 6th, 2020-06:31
The FPJ has a lovely movement

Has there been a Langematik handwerkskunst edition?

 By: LK : April 6th, 2020-06:56
Seeing the lovely dial of yours, I wonder what this would look like with a similar treatment as the Zeitwerk and 1815 Tourbillon handwerkskunst.

OMG Sam! I have a strong headache because of you now!

I did not have to hold my breath while commissioning....only have to wait for roughly one year. It was a very worthwhile wait

Wow!! Awesome watches, although, for me, the Roger W. Smith is my fav, although the Mortiz Grossman is a close second :p
