Assuming you were not kidnapped by aliens (and held hostage for 23hrs 15min) it could be a resonance effect from the bike you're riding.  At say 28,800 bph this is area 8 beats/sec and might be near the natural frequency of the bike/road vibrations you were feeling on the ride that day.  If so it could have, via resonance (the real, non FPJ type!) or being close to the 8bps frequency, disrupted your watch.  Trying the same road with a different watch on one wrist plus this one on the other wrist might provide some interesting data.  All the best.
