Only when it stops and I need to get them running
I used to but got lazy. The watches I have that need to be running, i.e. those with a date, so that I don't have to keep setting the dates when it stops, I keep on a winder. For those that are time only, I wind when I want to wear them. I haven't noticed any difference in performance of the watches whether or not I wound them daily in the past vs winding when needed today.

I manually wind whatever watch I'm wearing in the morning even if it's an automatic. It has become a morning ritual for me. If it's introduces more wear and tear to the watch, I really don't care because I get enjoyment manually winding it. - AT
