My response was to the moderator because neither of us were recommending anything but to go the Vacheron and or it’s official representatives to get a buckle. Your question is fine!! I’ve had to look for buckles for vintage watches of differing brands and it’s not something to feel bad for asking.

But unfortunately the prices being asked by VC is extremely high. Additionally, as this buckle is going on a vintage watch, I doo not think a brand new buckle will appropriate on a vintage watch. Thank you for your reply.
