It is not a Patek, nor a Rolex, not even more whatever you want, it is the Creme de la Creme, just under your eyes. Your heart is beating faster, your hands are shaking, you just pray to have enough battery in your camera. The moment is immediately engrav... 

... Which sooner or later a collector has the Big fortune to live! This watch is a perfect example of the type of finding which would induce these feelings. A unique piece no matter the brand or model. It has the Power of start these emotions! Great post ...

yes definitely, when they are of that quality and provenance ;-) When it comes to navigation and chronographs vintage Longines reign supreme. Nothing, nothing comes close. Best Z'

Longines? Same provenance? Lindberg/ A7/ 12.68 extralarge chrono or time only? 13.33 Z enamel dial?/ 13ZN flyback or non flyback, MP or sommatore, 30Ch, flagship, Conquest? More weems? Siderograph? I am ready, I can take it. Best Z'

Dual crown/ Nautilus/ chronometers/ military? Such a depth in Longines... Z'

but once you've tried on one of these "dinosaurs" on your wrist it's hard to get used to less. IMHO I think you'll struggle to find a better watch from any brand than the full size Lindbergh made in the Thirties. A true technical watch. Very fond memories...
